The Sealing of Prophecy

The New Testament completes God’s revelation through Jesus Christ and His apostles (Hebrews 1:1-2; Jude 3). The closing words of the New Testament (Revelation 22:18-19) warn against adding new messages or “prophecies.” Assemblies recognize that God’s plan of salvation, Christian doctrine, and the church’s pattern are now fully revealed.
