The Authority, Inerrancy, and Finality of the Word of God
Assembly holds that Scripture is God’s inspired, inerrant Word—completely trustworthy and sufficient for all matters of faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21). The Bible is absolutely complete; no further revelation or prophecy will be given. This finality is underlined in passages such as Revelation 22:18-19, where adding to or taking from God’s Word is strictly forbidden. Thus, believers reject new “prophets” or ongoing revelation outside of what Scripture provides.
