Fellowship, Observance, and Duties
If You’re New or Observing:
You are encouraged to attend, observe, and ask questions freely.
Feel welcomed to every meeting, join in the singing, and enjoy the fellowship time.
Show respect for the customs and procedures (for instance, not partaking in the Lord’s Supper until received into fellowship).
If Received into Fellowship (Commended):
You are now part of the assembly family, able to join fully in all meetings—sharing in the Lord’s Supper, praying aloud, participating in Bible readings, serving, teaching, giving, and enjoying all privileges and responsibilities.
Fellowship also means accountability—supporting and encouraging others, seeking to live a life consistent with biblical teaching, and helping maintain a loving, holy testimony
Care and Hospitality:
Expect a warm and genuine welcome.
If you are observing, the “duties of care” include being considerate, attentive, and respectful during meetings, as well as receptivity to friendly conversation and, perhaps, a home meal or coffee invitation.
Whether you’re just visiting, considering fellowship, or coming in with previously established assembly commendation, we pray you’ll find the atmosphere friendly and the focus on honouring Christ together—through worship, teaching, prayer, and care for one another.
If you’d like guidance about the path to fellowship, talk to one of the elders or ushers. They’re always glad to explain more and answer any questions!
